The Home Renovations Tax Credit (HRTC)

On January 27, 2009, the federal government introduced a one-year home renovations tax credit, whereby you will be able to recover 13.5% on the project costs, up to a maximum refund of $1350.00.
| The variety of eligible expenditures includes among others: |
| • Kitchen, bathroom or basement renovations |
| • House painting |
| • Installation of new carpeting or flooring |
| • Replacement of heating / air conditioning systems |
