James Schmidt, first went to N.A.I.T. in Edmonton, Alberta back in 1986 and took some business courses. He has owned and managed other businesses over the years and eventually went to B.C.I.T. to become a carpenter. After working many more years for other construction firms, he found there was a continual need in the industry for someone with varied skills. James decided to break away from the industries norm of being skilled in one thing only and thus Tall Dark And Handy Handyman Services Ltd. was born.
The handyman services soon became Vancouver, B.C.'s #1 award-winning handyman/carpentry company for customer service satisfaction. Later the business has grown to be more involved in small home renovations that James felt the need to create Renov8 The West Contracting Ltd. in 2009.
Today, we cater to Vancouver, with handyman/carpentry jobs from small repairs to full commercial/home renovations.
604-RENOMAN delivers to Vancouver, B.C. full service on in-house renovations for bathrooms, kitchens and basements which can contain a bedroom, media room or office. We also do commercial sites as well. We handle jobs that include: tile work, drywall, painting and smaller plumbing or electrical repairs or installations... we'll even hang your mirror for you.
